We are back with a round-up of 15 summer recipes that everyone can enjoy. The summer here in the UK seems to have finally started, all be it a little later than planned. It does however mean we can get outside and enjoy the weather a bit more and sit out in the garden for dinner or just lounge around in the hammock.

One of my favourite things about the summer is the fact we have more time for family dinners, picnics in the park, and late-night BBQs. These are my favourite recipes that are perfect for your next family dinner or get together. It covers everything from easy-to-make dips and refreshing salads, these recipes will have everyone begging for seconds! There is something in here for everyone to enjoy and create a real buzz about being outdoors.

With the warmer weather finally here, it means we switch to easier summer recipes in our house that don’t require us to be glued to the cooker. There is nothing worse on a hot day being stuck indoors with the cooker going so any dishes that can be cooked outside or require minimal cooking are firm favourites. The best part of summer cooking is all the fresh ingredients you can find at the farmer’s market! In this post, we’ll share our favourite recipes perfect for a hot summer day.

All of these dishes are going to be great, whether it be for a family BBQ or a catch up with friends you have not been able to see for a while.

Salads

It’s summertime and it’s time to ditch the heavy salads for lighter, fresher fare. Enter this strawberry mint cucumber salad! This is a perfect meal or side dish that will quench your thirst while also satisfying your hunger. It has all the flavours of a traditional Caprese salad but with no cheese and less oil. BBQ / Cookout

Whew, this bang bang chicken made in the Air Fryer is making my mouth water! It would be the perfect dish to bring to a potluck. Pretty easy to transport if you put the chicken in a pyrex dish with a lid.

One-pot dishes are so easy because it means less clean-up. This one pot broccoli and rice would be a tasty addition to any cookout. Even though it has broccoli, the flavours seem like they’d be kid-friendly.

What’s a cookout with a flavorful buffalo chicken dip? I can promise you, one batch of chicken dip isn’t enough!

I’m all about whipping up the most impressive desserts, with minimal work. What about you?
